Jack Herer

Jack Herer was an advocate for the legalization of marijuana and the author of “The Emperor Wears No Clothes.” His name has been given to a cannabis strain that is predominately sativa. Sensi Seeds created Jack Herer by combining a Haze hybrid with a Northern Lights #5 and a Shiva Skunk strain. The goal was to create a strain with the euphoria normally associated with sativas and the resin production typically found in indicas. Jack Herer was a success. This strain’s ancestry is quite varied, which has led to the development of a variety of distinct phenotypes, each of which possesses a unique collection of qualities and effects. After taking this hybrid cannabis strain, users report feeling joyful, concentrated, and innovative. It contains 55% sativa.

In the middle of the 1990s, the Jack Herer strain of cannabis was developed in the Netherlands, and ever since then, the Dutch pharmaceutical sector has disseminated it as a genuine medical strain. Since then, the pungent, pine-scented sativa strain has been recognized with a number of accolades for the exceptional quality and potency of the product it produces. Jack Herer needs between fifty and seventy days to flower when grown inside, however several breeders have had success growing it outside in Mediterranean or sunny climes.

To the untrained eye, the blooms of Jack Herer don’t appear to have much going for them. The buds in which they originate are densely packed with leaves that range in color from light to medium green and are more linear than rounded. This plant is famously challenging to handle with because of the large percentage of trichomes it has. The odor of Jack Herer more than makes up for the unattractive sight of the drug. After going through the correct curing process, the flowers will have an aroma that is heavy on the flowery side with undertones of citrus. When the tightly closed buds are opened, a greater citrus smell and a spicy kick are revealed. When the blooms are burned, an unexpectedly fresh and herbaceous perfume is released, one that is evocative of sage. The smoke has a similar floral smell all throughout it and is really easy to relax to. The aroma of Jack Herer is not overpoweringly fragrant, but it does leave behind an odor that is evocative of potpourri due to the fact that it has overtones of both spicy and floral flavors.
